The Seattle Wave celebrates its 11th year. Since 2002, we have been providing young athletes the opportunity to play competitive baseball in the Northwest. Our season consists of a rigorous off season training program and fifty to seventy games, depending on age.
Our program has graduated many players to the college ranks. We attract self motivated kids that possess a desire to learn and play at a high level. Wave players strive for excellence. Our program is fair, but challenging. The Wave is committed to youth baseball and continuous, relentless improvement.
Our mission is simple: Provide the highest level of personal development for our student athletes. Our goal is to inform, inspire, and instruct to maximize personal and athletic potential.
The Seattle Wave only hires qualified coaches and instructors. Our staff is made up of high school and college coaches, scouts, and college players. We refrain from hiring parent coaches. Background checks are performed on everyone that comes in contact with our kids.
Scott Watson is the lead instructor for the Seattle Wave and trains all the teams. He is currently the Pitching Coach at Edmonds Community College. His pitching mentor is Ken Knutson, Arizona State Pitching Coach. Scott also works with hitters and is mentored by Joe Ross - scout for the Seattle Mariners.
Ken Santi, Scott's long time friend, mentor, and partner, plays a major role in the program's success. Ken coordinates all the scheduling, fields, travel, and umpires. Ken also contributes to the kid's college recruiting process. He takes pride in seeing them off to the next level.
